Who can attend Ham Fest Goa 2025?

The event is open to all amateur radio operators (licensed or unlicensed), electronics enthusiasts, and anyone interested in communication technologies.

When and where will Ham Fest Goa 2025 take place?

The event is scheduled for 11th and 12th October 2025. The exact venue will be finalized in July 2025 based on registrations and sponsorship secured.

What is the registration fee?

The registration fee is ₹1,500 INR per participant(Includes Lunch). Registrations opened on Sankranti Day, 14th January 2025.

How will registrations be managed?

Registrations opended on 14th January 2025. After July 2025, registrations will be capped at 20% above the confirmed numbers at that time to ensure smooth planning.

What facilities will be available at the venue?

The venue will include 3–4 air-conditioned seminar halls and a ground/open/covered space to accommodate 800 to 1200 participants with round tables and chairs for comfortable eyeball QSOs.

How can I take a session or be a speaker at the event?

What are the accommodation options?

Discounted accommodation options include deluxe dorms (approximately ₹400 per bed), standard rooms (approximately ₹2,500), deluxe rooms (approximately ₹4,000), and group villas (approximately ₹10,000 for 8–10 people). Pricing is estimated, and information for direct booking with the hotels will be updated on the website.

Will transport arrangements be available?

We are working on few free buses and cabs from railway stations and airports. Details about transport options, including list of cab drivers and bus routes, will be shared closer to the event.

What about railway concessions?

We have applied for railway concessions and are awaiting a response. While we will continue to follow up, approval is not guaranteed.

What are the meal options?

Meals include simple breakfasts, vegetarian lunches, and high tea with local snacks. The menu will be upgraded based on sponsorship availability.

What sessions can participants expect?

We have proposed over 40 technical sessions on topics like SDR, LoRa, satellite communications, and antenna design are proposed. The final list will be based on speaker availability and participant interest. (A survery will conducted online on this website.)

Are all plans finalized?

All plans are subject to sponsorships and funds. While we aim for the best experience, some elements may be scaled depending on available resources.

Will there be tourism options?

Discounted tickets for Goa tours,Cruise Dinner Patries,Casinos, Water Sports and other activities will be available through on-site stalls. Participants can book these options directly.

Which airports should participants use?

Participants can use Dabolim Airport (Goa International Airport) or Mopa Airport (Manohar International Airport). Transport options will be coordinated for both airports.

How can I get updates or assistance?

Updates will be posted on the website. Dedicated representatives’ contact details will be shared for accommodation and transport-related assistance.

How are funds being managed?

As a young club, GRAS does not have institutional funding. Sponsorship efforts will begin after registrations open, and plans will be adjusted based on secured funds.
